Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment or silicone mat.
With a long serrated (bread) knife, cut carefully through the middle of the rolls.
Separate the top half of the rolls from the bottom half.
Place the bottom half on the baking sheet, cut side up.
Sprinkle half the cheese over the bottom half of the rolls, covering evenly.
Pour the marinara carefully over the bottom half of the rolls. Using a spatula or spoon, spread the sauce evenly over the rolls, taking care not to let the sauce drip over the sides of the rolls.
Sprinkle the herbs evenly over the marinara, then top with the remaining cheese.
Place the top half of the rolls on top of the bottom half, cut side down.
Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until bread is toasted and cheese has melted.
If you're taking the sliders to the party, slide them off the parchment or silicone mat onto a cool rimmed baking sheet or tray and travel with them uncovered so they don't get soggy. Otherwise slide them onto a cooling rack, let cool completely, then transfer to a rimmed sheet to transport to the party.
