Ingredients

Instructions

  • Slice each avocado in half. Remove the pit and slice the avocado flesh into thin slices.
  • Slice horizontally through the sheet of rolls and flip the top half over to reveal both inside surfaces. (Optional: at this point you can toast the halves in the oven on 375°F for about 10 minutes; just be mindful to cover only loosely when transporting so they don't steam and get soggy.)
  • Place the bottom half on whatever you're using to transport the sliders to the party (see note at top).
  • Spread sour cream (or crema) on both halves of the rolls.
  • Arrange avocado slices evenly across the bottom half of the rolls, then top with carnitas.
  • Flip the top half of the rolls back onto the bottom half. Cover and transport to the party.
