Carnitas sliders
A pillowy little bun with carnitas, crema, and avocado. Hand-held heaven.

Slice each avocado in half. Remove the pit and slice the avocado flesh into thin slices.
Slice horizontally through the sheet of rolls and flip the top half over to reveal both inside surfaces. (Optional: at this point you can toast the halves in the oven on 375°F for about 10 minutes; just be mindful to cover only loosely when transporting so they don't steam and get soggy.)
Place the bottom half on whatever you're using to transport the sliders to the party (see note at top).
Spread sour cream (or crema) on both halves of the rolls.
Arrange avocado slices evenly across the bottom half of the rolls, then top with carnitas.
Flip the top half of the rolls back onto the bottom half. Cover and transport to the party.
